The Reform of Voluntary and Not for Profit Sector

Description

A reform prompted by the fact that we believe that the volunteering sector should be strengthened in order to meet the present and future needs of volunteering in Malta and so that the sector continues to be recognised as an important pillar in society. This reform must ensure that the sector has the strength and tools it needs so that it can function properly, and the change process is to go beyond the legislative change and should look at the sector collectively. Above all, the reform is aimed at creating a balance between what must be regulated and what must be supervised.

Ir-Riforma tas-Settur tal-Volontarjat u Not for Profit

Deskrizzjoni

Riforma mnebbħa mill-fatt li nemmnu li s-settur tal-volontarjat għandu jigi msaħħaħ sabiex jintlaħqu l-ħtiġijiet preżenti u futuri tal-volontarjat f’Malta u sabiex is-settur ikompli jiġi rikonoxxut bħala pilastru importanti fis-soċjetà. Din ir-riforma trid tara li s-settur ikollu s-saħħa u l-għodda li għandu bżonn sabiex ikun jista’ jiffunzjona kif suppost, u l-proċess tal-bidla meħtieġ li jmur lil hinn mill-bidla leġiżlattiva u li jħares lejn is-settur b'mod kollettiv.  Fuq kollox, ir-riforma hija mmirata li toħloq bilanċ bejn dak li għandu jiġi regolat u dak li jrid jiġi indukrat.
